Help Black Birch Vineyards celebrate the Summer Soltice! The Happy Valley Guitar Orchestra, a true avant-garde community orchestra will perform at Black Birch Vineyard on Friday June 21st from 6:30-8:30. Cover charge – $10. Bring chairs or a blanket to sit on and enjoy the music. The Laughing Tomato Mobile Wood Fired Pizza will also be joining us. (Raindate: June 22nd) See you then!

Music of Russian composers Shostakovich and Moussorgsky,
early 16th century French dance music like you’ve never heard it before!
Premiere of Frank Wallace’s Nuevas Cantigas, arranged by music director Peter Blanchette, and much more as HVGO rocks and hums in springtime in the beautiful sanctuary space of the First Churches of Northampton, right in the center of town.
Show at 7:30pm Tix $12 students, $15 adults at the door.

HVGO comes to Franklin County for a Valentine’s Day weekend show at the lovely and intimate Arts Block Café, right in the center of Greenfield.

From Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir to Moussorgky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, from Philip Glass’ opera Satyagraha to film score genius Gustavo Santoalalla’s themes from The Insider, and from JS Bach to Bela Bartok, the orchestra will rock and serenade your post-Valentine’s Day afterglow, or help you drown out memories you’d rather forget!

Show at 8pm Tix $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Chocolates and flowers optional.

HVGO performs at the Springfield City Library’s Central Library Centennial Series, a free Sunday concert series celebrating the 100th birthday of the magnificent library, whose central building was built with significant support from Andrew Carnegie. HVGO will play music of Dimitry Shostakovich, Philip Glass, Gusatavo Santoalalla, Modeste Moussorgsky, J.S. Bach, and a surprise or two from the pop music canon.

Concert at 1pm, doors open an 12:30pm
